Dixon Robertson represents only homeowners in synthetic stucco litigation. He established his law practice in Columbia on October 1, 1996. He has both undergraduate and juris doctor degrees from the University of South Carolina, finishing its School of Law in December 1983, and has practiced law since 1984. After clerking for a year on the South Carolina Court of Appeals, he joined Nexsen Pruet Jacobs & Pollard, working almost exclusively in construction litigation. Dixon left Nexsen, Pruet in 1989 to become a partner in Bowers Orr & Robertson, L.L.P., where he practiced for nearly seven years. He is a member in the American Bar Association and South Carolina Bar. Dixon also belongs to the Construction Section of the South Carolina Bar, the Litigation Section of the ABA, and serves on the ABA's Forum Committee on the Construction Industry. He is an Associate Member and director in the Carolinas Association of General Contractors. In law school, Dixon was a member of the South Carolina Law Review, Order of Wig and Robe, and Order of the Coif.
